Apple Inc. to Enter Home Automation Market

Not to be outdone by Microsoft and its BUILD Developer Conference, Apple is gearing up for its own event for iOS and Mac OS X software creators.  The event which is being held in San Francisco between June 2 and 6 is creating quite the buzz.   People are speculating as to what exactly Apple has up its sleeve this time.

Word has it that Apple taking a page out of Cyber Technologies book for New York City Home Automation and Westchester HomeAutomation are opting to break into the Home Automation world. Not surprising considering how Apple has made an empire out of integrating its devices through WiFi channels.  Apple’s Unix-Based Operating System, OS X has been the driving force behind Savant Smart Systems.  Savant Smart Systems is in the business of developing and manufacturing software and hardware solutions for the connected home.

Apple’s venturing into a world which provides a service that allows you as the consumer to have full control over your home energy systems as well as appliances.  With the Help of Apple and Cyber Technologies New York City HomeAutomation and Westchester Home Automation, Audio, Lighting, telephony and energy management will be at your fingertips. In keeping with Home Automation Apple is also expected to bring to market an Apple TV Hardware in the near future that will also link into the Home Automation scheme.

Now, Many may be wondering, why is this important?  Well like most businesses one needs to keep up with its competition in order to stay successful.  The home Automation industry has become a huge market for Microsoft and Google.  Google who has bought “Nest” has long been associated with the “Internet of Things”.  Apple’s vision in this industry is very important for the simple fact that it has a huge well funded background that can typically break into any market it chooses.  Apple has made billions off of its other ideas, if they once again are able to wave that magic wand of theirs they are looking at the involvement in a market that can generate them billions of dollars.

If Apple is able to improve upon their Intelligent Personal Assistant and Knowledge Navigator “SIRI” and then integrate her/him into Home automation we’d be in for a treat! We would soon be embarking into uncharted territories where once believed science fiction movies like “2001 a Space Odyssey” would become a reality, hopefully without the psychotic AI.
